【原创】改造Marvell固件更新ASUS U3S6扩展卡。

做为SATA 6G的主流生力军，采用Marvell 91xx芯片的扩展卡越来越多，当初在测试C300的时候由于主板ICH10R不支持原生SATA 6G，我也买了快。

经过1年多的使用，就是不见ASUS更新FIRMWARE，看着别家主板整合的rom都在更新，心里真不是滋味。

一次无意间看到了Marvell每次更新出的change log，确实固件更新中修复了N多bug，大不小不都几十次了。

今天空下来索性研究下到底如何更新这块卡的固件，折腾的路我自己走一遍也就够了，所以本篇只是给广大U3S6卡的朋友最后的固件打包。

在下载固件包前，先要给你们看2张图：

据我了解到，ASUS 的 U3S6一共有2种PCB版本：（下图以PCB 0和PCB 1区分）

PCB 1

PCB0的老版采用的是Marvell 88SE9123，桥接芯片是PLX PEX8313 而新版PCB 1的采用 Marvell 88SE9120，桥接芯片 PLX PEX8308
所以对应2块PCB的固件包内我稍微改了下硬件代码，下载前你们先确认好自己的卡是哪种PCB。

当你们把卡刷成上面的固件包后，请再刷新下面这个最新的固件包 (rom提取自GIGABYTE的BIOS分解,目前最新)

至此你的U3S6就跑在最新的固件下了，根据我的评测，持续速度提升不少（固件跑在AHCI模式，安装最新的1051驱动也支持Trim）

附：如果有朋友在刷新中碰到问题或者想降回老固件的，这里我也提供原厂U3S6的固件包

Marvell 最新 912x 1051驱动，AHCI模式下支持Trim。

更新后随便跑了次测试，蛮满意的，各位也不要过于纠结下图的成绩。

新固件，盘已经使用了1000小时，系统盘，安装杀毒，从未优化。

上次评测镁光C300 64G内的截图。

可以看出持续有部分提升，随机受到新旧盘的影响，误差可以理解，不管如何，我主要看中更新固件解决的各种bug，对于PCIE 2.0 1X的91xx芯片，最大350~400MB/s持续都是正常的。
